Today I visited an abandoned series of buildings with a group of artists looking for a new home for the Living Art Museum in Reykjavik. The buildings are owned by one of the banks that have collapsed, so the museum thinks they can get the space for free… for 10 years! Anyway, I took a bunch of extremely interesting photos of the abandoned office space. There’s something prophetic about these pictures and the collapse of their economy, I think.

Reykjavik sounds a lot like Greensboro, random buildings up for grabs and all.
